Time and The Valleys Museum
Time and The Valleys Museum needed a new website that presented a more established and professional image. The site needed to tie directly to their database of artifacts, allow for membership level access, sell books and other items, and accept membership payment, along with a list of functional and technical requirements. After the launch of the site, the museum needed a solution for keeping the site up to date and safe.
Our ApproachWe developed a new website based on a simple, clean design and built it on WordPress to allow them to make updates themselves. We developed proprietary software to interface with the PastPerfect software on their server to keep the website and the database in synch. We built an online store, and a membership area, as well as an upload function to allow site visitors to upload historic photos and documents to the museum director for inclusion on the website. Once the site was complete, Time and The Valleys became our first Care Plan client, and as such enjoys a strategy session with us each month to discuss website changes and digital marketing strategy.
